“Health, wealth, beauty and genius are not created; they are only manifested by the arrangement of your mind – that is, by your concept of yourself and your concept of yourself is all that you accept and consent to as true.” Neville
Self Confidence -> Self Esteem -> Power -> Self Worth…What’s the difference? Is there actually any difference?
Your life story is unique so it will mean something different to you than to everyone else. And thank goodness! If you believe what they say, you can write your own life story, so if this is true, why wouldn’t you write something great.
Can you? Do you believe you can? After reading “The Secret” a girlfriend of mine said “you could have written that! I was, of course flattered.
Another time she said quite disdainfully ‘you live in a fantasy world’ and then after reflecting for a period of time she came back and said ‘no, this is your life – you create it and then live it!
I found it all very fascinating because that’s not how I see my life at all. Everyone sees you differently but it’s how you see yourself that matters most.
I’ve probably had more death & destruction in my life than some and less than others. I’ve moved house 5 times in 6-7 years – more than some, less than others. I’ve been fat & thin and just right (always in hindsight though!). I’ve had happiness and sadness and everything in between.
What I’m saying is I choose to stay optimistic and happy most of the time (although my husband says my down times are higher than most people’s up times – so go figure). So I think I’m pretty normal – my sort of normal that is – not yours and not anyone else’s.
Life’s about creating your plan (goal setting), doing the steps (time management), sticking to it (decision making), revising as necessary (leadership) and celebrating the journey!
So my question is … are you brave enough to embrace your uniqueness and stand out from the crowd by living your life the way YOU want to?
Go on, go out and do it your way and hold your head high!
